About

my photoI’ve always been passionate about communication, whether meeting new people, explaining complex matters in a plain language to my students or participating in a staff meeting pitching ideas and discussing complex projects.

I have ten years of teaching experience that taught me the most: to interact with people, understand their needs and be prepared to make each class worth it. It takes passion and stamina to be an open island in the ocean of faces, imagination to keep them focused and empathy and patience to evaluate the results and provide feedback.

After moving to Canada, my curious nature, thirsty for knowledge, pushed me out of my comfort zone and set me on a new learning path.

As a recent graduate of the Professional Writing and Communications postgraduate program, I honed my writing and editing skills and learned how to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. During my placement, I worked on social media campaigns, created marketing materials and was involved in updating the website of the organization.

I want to employ all these strengths pursuing my career in communications as it resonates with my mission in life – to serve people.

When I’m not in front of the screen, I read, relish traditional food, practice yoga, travel and enjoy life!
